  1. Premier League run-in lowdownpublished at 10:45 24 April

We have already mentioned this today, but if you want to assess the title run-in for each team, clicking on this BBC Sport feature is a great place to start.

You can find all the remaining matches for the three title challengers - Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City - along with the latest Opta stats showing what the chances are of each side winning the title, as well as their chances of winning each individual game they have left.

For the record, Opta still has Manchester City in pole position, as they will claim a record fourth consecutive title if they win all their remaining matches.

But Arsenal's recent wins against Wolves and Chelsea have given them a four-point cushion over Pep Guardiola's side, albeit having played two games more.

The Gunners have also moved three points clear of second-placed Liverpool, who play their game in hand at Everton tonight.

Jurgen Klopp's side have a vastly inferior goal difference so should not expect to return to the top of the table, even with a win at their Merseyside rivals...

    So what do you think?

If Arsenal win their remaining four games, will they be crowned champions of the Premier League for the first time since 2004?

Or can Manchester City take a maximum 18 points from their remaining six games to claim a fourth successive title?

Bringing Liverpool into the mix, do you think the three challengers for the title will drop points in their remaining fixtures? And, if so, which games in the run-in do you think will prove pivotal?

    So many questions...

We will assess the remaining games for Arsenal, City and Liverpool throughout the morning to try to give a clearer picture of the potential pitfalls for each side.

  3. 'Will Man City drop points? I'm not sure'published at 10:34 24 April

    Arsenal 5-0 Chelsea

Former Arsenal Women's captain Faye White was clearly buoyed by Arsenal's performance in Tuesday's 5-0 win over Chelsea, which she believes put to bed any concerns over their mentality following a damaging defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier League and their loss to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

But while White is now confident about Arsenal's chance of ending the season on a high, the spectre of reigning champions Manchester City still looms large in her thinking, when assessing the Gunners' chances of landing the title.

City are now four points behind the Gunners but with two games in hand.

"I believe they [Arsenal] could win all their last few games," she said. "But the problem is will Manchester City drop points? I’m not sure they will."

As a Chelsea fan tonight was the poorest result we’ve really had all year. But looking past that at the table it’s been a better year even though the pundits will tell you otherwise. We’re only 3 points behind Newcastle and Man Utd and still in with a realistic chance of European football. Need to stop being so reactive to one or two poor results and performances

  5. 'Tottenham will have a big say in title race'published at 10:24 24 April

    Arsenal 5-0 Chelsea

    Faye White
Ex-England & Arsenal captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

To have that strong performance against a London team...to score five and get that confidence flowing, with lots of different scorers, going into the north London derby on Sunday after having that confidence boost. It’s huge isn’t it.

I think Tottenham will have a big say in the title race. Liverpool and Manchester City both have to go to them as well. You almost want it to be one of the last games because they’re still fighting for a few more points [to qualify for the Champions League], with two games [in hand] on Aston Villa… they really need the points to try and get up to that fourth place as well.

Loved the performance from Arsenal last night! Let's hope someone does us a favour and nicks some points of Man City. Have to say it, Havertz is starting to earn his wages. But Arsenal fans still need to acknowledge what a great job Trossard and Kiwior have done also! They have made a difference this season for us, when other big name big game players have been less than average. Even if we don't win the title we have consolidated our position in the league! Time for Arteta to get ruthless with our squad players! We need a competitive squad to really move to next level. Player recruitment, development and more importantly player management need to improve!

  7. 'Confidence to put the doubters to rest'published at 10:17 24 April

    Arsenal 5-0 Chelsea

    Faye White
Ex-England & Arsenal captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a game. We’ve had quite a few of those this season where Arsenal when they’re just clicking and purring, they really do put the goals away. It was enjoyable to watch after what has been a few games – the Aston Villa game at home – where they lost and we thought "oh no, it’s handed it back to City", but for them to come back in that fashion after going out the Champion’s League!

It’s that confidence to put the doubters to rest. Even your own doubts within in your own mind.

As a player you don’t really want to listen to that side of your mind when it goes that way.

  9. Forest remain positive as appeal day arrivespublished at 10:07 24 April

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport senior football news reporter

Nottingham Forest’s appeal against their four-point deduction for breaching profit and sustainability rules will be heard today.

The appeal itself is expected to be wrapped up on Wednesday, although the final outcome may not be until next month – yet well before the Premier League’s backstop date of 24 May.

Sitting a point above the relegation zone, following Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Everton, the appeal will have ramifications in the fight for survival, regardless of the decision.

The controversy surrounding the club’s statement over the integrity of VAR official Stuart Attwell and their demands for the referees’ audio to be released from the Goodison Park loss – where Forest had three penalty claims rejected - has allowed the appeal to arrive with little fanfare.

Forest themselves remain stoic in the face of an issue which has lingered for months. There has been little talk of it around the training ground, even if boss Nuno Espirito Santo admitted last week the players remained annoyed at losing four hard-earned points.

The talk is about football and how Forest feel they deserve more points from their performances, rather about the ones stripped from them or what could have been.

There is an acceptance the appeal is out of their control but there is far from a cloud hanging over the City Ground. There is no moping

Profit and sustainability is the elephant in the room and there is little escaping it with two appeals, for Forest's and Everton's, to be heard before the end of the season.

The PSR axe could fall for several clubs in the not-too-distant future, with Leicester having been charged over alleged breaches already, and talk about financial rule breaking could become as regular as VAR complaints.

For now, Forest remain positive. That positivity will only increase with a shock win over Manchester City on Sunday.

I think its unfair to say sack Poch. This is the first team sheet where I've actually thought injuries are now playing a part. Played great on Saturday, game 3 days later against Arsenal. This 'a game too far' was always going to happen this season.

Imagine if a club could combine the deep pockets of the Chelsea ownership with the insight of fans (who predicted this would be the outcome of the recruitment policy). It would be unstoppable.

Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca told BBC Radio Leicester: "The good thing now is that we are nearly there, we just need one more win to finish our job and hopefully that will be in the next game against Preston away.

"Most of the time people judge the results. I think the performance was good but I don't think it was our best performance of the season.

"But overall it was a fantastic performance on the ball and off the ball, the way they pressed, the way they worked until the end."

Abdul Fatawu of Leicester City celebrates with the match ball following his hat-trick against SouthamptonImage source, Getty Images

Abdul Fatawu's hat-trick helped Leicester City take a giant step towards an immediate Premier League return as they ruthlessly ended Southampton’s realistic hopes of automatic promotion.

The Foxes need to win one of their remaining two matches against Preston or Blackburn to go up, but their place in the top flight could also be sealed as early as Friday if Leeds lose at QPR.

A cool, low finish from Fatawu gave the hosts a deserved first-half lead against a Saints side that struggled to deal with the Foxes’ press and purpose before the break.

Southampton improved vastly immediately after half-time but were overawed by the clinical Foxes, who doubled their lead through Wilfred Ndidi's powerful header.

A stunning second from Fatawu followed, then the winger set up Jamie Vardy for his 18th of the season before the former England striker provided the assist for the Ghana international to complete his treble.

Arsenal's thumping 5-0 win over Chelsea on Tuesday saw them open a three-point gap at the top of the Premier League table - but Manchester City remain strong favourites to win the title.

The result means Arsenal are three points above second-placed Liverpool and four points ahead of City in third.

However, Jurgen Klopp's side have a game in hand over Arsenal, while Pep Guardiola's team have played two games fewer than the league leaders.

I don't know what Gallagher is talking about suggesting the players are putting the effort it. Most of them clearly don't care and are just playing for themselves. Jackson claims he wants to emulate Drogba but cringes away from a cross because he thinks he might get hurt. It's a disgrace.

Amazing to see Arsenal back to their best after our dip last week. Can't help thinking City will win all their games and we'll be looking back at all those points dropped in December and thinking "what if".... if only the season was another 10 games!!

It’s not just one performance. He had a rough start but Havertz has been consistently good for the majority of the season, and occasionally, like last night, outstanding

"I heard fireworks from the Arsenal fans," Cole said. "I think [the celebrations] are a bit early with five games to go. It's a bit too much!"
