The Queen has been in Devon re-visiting a Royal Navy ship she named in 1998.

Her Majesty was accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh and the pair were greeted at Plymouth's Devonport naval base by a Guard of Honour and a 21-gun salute.

They spent time on the navy's largest warship, HMS Ocean, which the Queen officially named on a trip to Barrow-in Furness, Cumbria, 12 years ago.

During the visit they met the ship's company and other personnel and their families and were also shown equipment.

The Queen and Prince Philip were also guests of honour at a special lunch on board HMS Ocean.
