Ballroom dancing has become more popular in recent years because of shows like Strictly Come Dancing - but in Austria, waltzing has never gone out of fashion.
Every year around 300 balls take place in Vienna - from the glittering Opera Ball, to the Ball of the Fire Brigade.
As a result it is still a rite of passage for Austrian teenagers to learn how to ballroom dance.
Bethany Bell went to a class in Vienna to find out why it remains so popular - and spoke to some teenagers as well as dancing school owner Thomas Schaefer-Elmayer.
