Christmas flooding: Your pictures

The arrival of Storm Eva meant there were more than 100 flood alerts on Christmas Day across England and Wales. By Monday, there were 500.
Many people had to move out of their homes, cars lay abandoned and animals were bewildered.

On Saturday buildings became islands in Shipley, West Yorkshire

Jamie's parents' recently-decorated flat in Saltaire, West Yorkshire, will need more work.

These lucky sheep in Acaster Selby were lead to dry land on Sunday.

Roads and service stations became inaccessible in Leeds.

Andy in Skeldergate, York, said it was the worst flooding he'd ever seen: "Even worse than 2002".

Cars were almost completely submerged in York.

The graveyard at St Mary's Church, Eccleston, was inaccessible.
