A man has been charged with murdering a motorcyclist who died in a crash.

Richard Radbourne, 47, had been travelling on a Harley Davidson motorbike when it was in collision with a black Audi Q3 car in Tamworth, Staffordshire, at about 22:00 GMT on Sunday, police said.

He died at the scene in Comberford Road.

Murat Karakas, 51, of Tamworth, has been charged with Mr Radbourne's murder and is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday.

Mr Radbourne's family are being supported by specialist officers, Staffordshire Police said.

Detectives appealed for information and urged anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage to come forward.

A man, 23, who was arrested on Monday on suspicion of murder and causing death by dangerous driving, has been released on conditional bail while investigations continue, the force added.
