Pedestrian taken to hospital after being hit by car

Police were called after a man was struck by a car on Shrublands Way, Gorleston

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car, police said.
The incident happened at about 23:15 BST on Saturday on Shrublands Way, Gorleston, Norfolk, and involved a black Nissan X-Trail.
The injured pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
Norfolk Police has appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
