Pedestrian hospitalised after being struck by car

Police were called to an incident that saw a man struck by a car on Shrublands Way, Gorleston

A pedestrian has been hospitalised with life-threatening conditions after he was hit by a car, police said.

The incident happened at about 23:15 BST on Saturday on Shrublands Way, Gorleston, Norfolk, and involved a black Nissan X-Trail.

The injured pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Norfolk Police has appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
