The body of a man found in High Wycombe has been formally identified by police.

Robert Kellett, 63, was found in a bathroom in a property on Terry Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, at about 18:45 BST on 12 September, Thames Valley Police said.

A Home Office post-mortem examination has been unable to determine the cause of death.

Cheryl Downs, 65, also of Terry Road, has been charged with one count of murder and one count of preventing a lawful burial.

She appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court via video link on 17 September and entered no plea to either charge.

Afterwards she was remanded into custody and the judge has scheduled a preliminary hearing on 28 November.

The court heard the pair had been in a relationship until 2023 and the Mr Kellett had not been seen in 11 months.
