Police investigate unexplained death of woman

The death of a woman found at a home on Merseyside is being treated as unexplained, police have said.
Officers were called to Meols Cop Road in Southport just after 18:00 GMT on Wednesday after the ambulance service reported a woman had been found dead.
Merseyside Police said an investigation had been launched.
The force added: "Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances into the death."
