A man has been re-arrested on suspicion of murdering a man who was stabbed to death in Rotherham.

Paul Sharp, 52, was found fatally injured at an address on Redscope Crescent on 25 October.

South Yorkshire Police said the 46-year-old man had been re-arrested on Thursday.

Four other people previously arrested in connection with the case have been released with no further action, officers said.

Anyone with any information which might assist the criminal investigation is asked to contact the police.

Speaking shortly after the incident last year, Mr Sharp's family said his death had brought them "deep sadness".
