Police probe final movements of man found dead near quarry

Police are trying to piece together the final movements of a man found dead in Moray who may have been struck by a vehicle.
John Geddes, 33, had been reported missing from the Lossiemouth area last week.
His body was found on Sunday afternoon near the A941 close to the Sunbank Quarry entrance.
Police Scotland said officers believe Mr Geddes could have been hit by a vehicle. A car and its driver have been traced, and efforts are being made to establish the last known movements of Mr Geddes.
Detectives are trying to work out the exact circumstance leading up to Mr Geddes being found.
This includes studying CCTV footage, and speaking to people in the local area.
Formal identification has taken place, and a post mortem examination will be held to establish the cause of death.
Det Insp Andrew Wilson urged any witnesses, particularly any drivers with dashcam footage, to contact the force via the non-emergency line, external.
