Military parades, live music and a funfair will be among the highlights of North Lincolnshire Armed Forces Day.

A packed timetable has been announced for the event at Brumby Hall Sports Ground, in Scunthorpe, on 22 June.

Veterans from the Army, Royal Navy and RAF will parade alongside cadets.

A flypast by a Lancaster bomber, of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, has been cancelled following the death of Sqn Ldr Mark Long.

The free event is staged annually by North Lincolnshire Council to support the men and women who make up the armed forces' community.

Music will be provided by the Veterans Big Band, which performs at concerts all over the UK and Europe, and the RAF Air Cadets Band.
