Two teenagers have been charged after a man was stabbed in a park.

Officers were called to Whitehouse Park in Ipswich just before 01:50 BST on Wednesday following an altercation between three teenage males and a group of four adults.

A man in his 30s was stabbed and was now in a serious, but stable condition in hospital, according to Suffolk Police.

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place. They will appear later at Ipswich Magistrates' Court.

Another 19-year-old man was released on bail until November after being arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
