Two men have been arrested following a stabbing in Liverpool.

A 56-year-old man was attacked at a property on Seaman Road in Wavertree on Thursday evening at about 22:30 BST.

He was taken to hospital for injuries to his arms and legs, Merseyside Police said.

A 43-year-old man is being held on suspicion of wounding and a 31-year-old man is being held on suspicion of wounding with intent and assisting an offender and police inquiries are ongoing.
