Thousands of people will be offered a chance to learn more about eco-friendly living at a free festival, organisers said.

EcoFest will return to the Pump Room Gardens in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, for the fifth year on 31 August.

The event will showcase local artists and musicians on the bandstand while also hosting local plant-based food vendors and activities exploring how to be more environmentally conscious .

Warwick councillor Ella Billiald said: "EcoFest has become a key event in the calendar, bringing friends and families together to learn a bit more about looking after our planet and take the first steps towards an eco-friendly way of living.

"There will be opportunities to take part in a range of activities, enjoy locally sourced food including vegan and vegetarian options and explore ways to become more active in our district's wonderful parks," she added.

The event will run from 10:00 BST to 17:00 BST.
