A man who was arrested following the death of a woman in a house fire has been released, with no further action to be taken against him.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the blaze, near Bwlch-llan, Ceredigion, at about 14:15 BST on Monday.
The woman has been named locally as Heather Edwards.
A 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, but Dyfed-Powys Police said on Wednesday he had been released after questioning without charge, with no further action to be taken against him.
The fire service said crews battled a "well-developed" fire within a two-storey house attached to a farmhouse, with firefighting efforts made harder by strong winds.
During the incident, "new information made it apparent" that one individual was unaccounted for and a body was discovered in the building once the fire had been brought under control, the fire service added.
Officers said on Wednesday the death is now being treated as unexplained and they are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Formal identification of the body is yet to take place, and it is expected that this could take some time.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the damage to the property was "extensive".
A policing presence will remain at the scene while the property is made structurally safe, and officers continue with their enquiries
Ceris Jones, who represents the Llanfihangel Ystrad ward on Ceredigion council said: "This sad news has come as a shock to us all.
"I can only extend my deepest sympathies to the family and friends."
