Lightning and flash floods hit north of island

A property in Jersey was hit by lighting, while heavy rain caused flooding in several areas in the north of the island, firefighters said.
Jersey Fire Service said it was dealing with "multiple calls" about flooding.
It advised drivers to take care in the area as road conditions could be "difficult".
The service said fire crews could be working on or near roads.
