Woman killed in Plymouth crash

A woman has been killed following a crash with another car in Plymouth, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the scene at Ham Drive at about 17:20 GMT on Tuesday after a collision between a grey Audi and a silver Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Ford, a woman in her 60s from Plymouth, has since been confirmed dead.
A man in his 30s from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.
'Terribly tragic time'
After the incident, he was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries and the road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
Insp Jane Corkhill, head of the Serious Collisions Investigation Team, said: "We are deeply saddened that a lady has lost her life in yet another fatal road traffic collision on our Devon and Cornwall's roads.
"Our thoughts are very much with the victim and her family at this terribly tragic time and they will be supported by specially trained officers throughout the investigation."
