Arrest after motorcyclist killed in M6 crash

A 59-year-old man is being held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the fatal crash

A man has been arrested after a motorcyclist died in a crash on the M6 motorway.
The rider died at the scene after his machine was in collision with a lorry on the southbound carriageway, near junction 10 for Walsall on Monday.
A 59-year-old man was detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the crash at about 15:00 BST, West Midlands Police confirmed.
A force spokesperson said the biker's family has been notified and relatives were being supported by specialist officers.
The motorway was closed southbound between junctions 11 and 10 for more than seven hours on Monday before it reopened at about 22:45.
