The Mansfield Street building was being used as an office

Plans to turn part of a converted Victorian mill in Leicester into a new educational hub for young people with additional needs have been approved.
An application to turn the ground floor and basement of the Creative Mill building in Mansfield Street into an education hub was submitted in July.
The team behind the scheme said it would offer a "broad, balanced and strengths-based" curriculum to support pupils aged 13 to 19 with social, emotional and mental health needs.
The school, approved by Leicester City Council, will be able to enrol about 40 students and employ 18 staff.
A report submitted by the applicant Indie Education said the facility would "address gaps in current educational provision for young people with additional needs or those in alternative provision across Leicester and Leicestershire".
The scheme also includes parking spaces and an electric vehicle charging point for a shared minibus between sites.
