Street sealed off after man seriously injured

Police have made an arrest after a man was found with serious injuries.
Officers were called to Alfred Street North, St Ann’s, Nottingham, shortly before 21:00 BST on Monday following reports of an assault.
The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital. No more details about his condition are yet known.
Nottinghamshire Police said a man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in police custody.
'Concern to the community'
A stretch of the road, at its junction with Kilbourn Street, was sealed off by officers.
Ch Insp David Mather said: “Our investigation is at an early stage, but we do believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider risk posed to the public.
“We understand an incident like this can cause concern to the community, but I want to personally reassure the public we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”
