A man and a teenager have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a father-of-seven who was shot dead.

Deavon Harrison, 46, died after being found seriously injured in Dunstall Hill in Wolverhampton on 30 December.

A post-mortem examination revealed he was killed by a gunshot wound to his chest, West Midlands Police said.

A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy remain in custody for questioning.

A woman, 42, has previously been charged with Mr Harrison's murder.

She will appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday.

Mr Harrison's family described him as a "beloved son", who left behind parents, 13 siblings, seven children and a granddaughter.

Det Ch Insp Laura Harrison said the force was supporting his family and reiterated an appeal for information.

"It's still really important that anyone who has not yet been in touch speaks to us, so we can build the clearest picture possible of what happened," she added.
