Man charged with murder over shooting

A man has been charged with murder after a shooting in Walsall left one man dead and another injured.
Connor Brookes, 20, died at the scene on Well Lane, in Blakenall, just before 17:00 BST on Monday.
Jake Sanbrook, 22, from Bloxwich, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
He is due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, who were also arrested earlier this week, were bailed on Friday with strict conditions meaning they must stay out of Walsall while inquiries continue.
Mr Brookes's family earlier this week described him as having a "heart of gold".
"We are all devastated at the loss we have suffered - such a tragic loss of life at such a young age when he had his future ahead of him," they said.
The second victim was treated in hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
