Guernsey Ports say there will be some increased noise levels in the first week

Residents are being warning of "increased noise levels" while navigational line markings on Guernsey's airport runway are repainted overnight over the next three weeks.
Guernsey Ports said the "essential visual aids" would be renewed with a high-durability reflective paint to stand out in all weathers.
It said there would be no disruption to flight schedules and that medevacs would operate as normal while work was ongoing.
The authority said there would be some increased noise while surfaces were cleaned, with painting scheduled to begin on Monday.
"Guernsey Ports apologises for any disruption, which will be kept to the minimum level necessary to complete the work," it said.
