Man in 90s in hospital after being hit by car

A man in his 90s has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in an East Sussex town, police have said.
The pensioner was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital after the incident in Royal Parade, Eastbourne, at about 17:50 GMT on Friday.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Police are investigating the circumstances and are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
