Police are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run crash on a residential street which left a pedestrian in his sixties in hospital.

Emergency services were called to the junction of Dark Lane and Goodyers End Lane in Bedworth, Warwickshire, just after 20:00 GMT on Monday.

The driver failed to stop at the scene, Warwickshire Police said.

The male pedestrian suffered shoulder, back, hip and head injuries, the force added.

Police investigators are working to establish the vehicle's make and model, and have asked witnesses and those with dashcam footage to get in touch.
