Four men have been arrested after a man was threatened with a knife and had his e-bike stolen.
Police were called to Tredworth Road in Gloucester following a report that four men had threatened another man with weapons after they had arranged to meet and purchase the bike, Gloucestershire Police said.
The men left the area in a car following the incident, which happened at about 13:30 BST on Wednesday. Officers found the vehicle driving along the A417 towards Wiltshire and stopped it within an hour.
The four men, who are all from Swindon and aged between 21 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in police custody.
The stolen e-bike was not located within the vehicle and it is thought it may have been dumped in the Tredworth area.
Gloucestershire Police has asked anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to get in touch.
