Wyndamara the Witch will be among the highlights of a free "spooky" Halloween event in Grantham.

The Halloween Trail will bring storytelling, a circus performance to "add magic" to the event, and include a duck race, at Wyndham Park on 26 October from 11:00 to 15:00 GMT.

All children require a ticket for the trail and must be accompanied by an adult. There is an optional dress code of bats or cats.

South Kesteven District Council's deputy leader and cabinet member for leisure and culture, councillor Paul Stokes said booking early was recommended as in previous years the event has been popular.

The duck race is organised by Grantham RiverCare and begins at 12:00. Tickets cost £1 per duck and will be available to purchase on the day.

Trail tickets have to be purchased in advance and are available from Wyndham Park.
