Glastonbury traders prepare for 'busiest time of the year'

Glastonbury traders are preparing for one of their "busiest times of year".
About 220,000 people will make their way through the town's streets on their way to Worthy Farm.
Nearby shop workers say the week is just as busy as Christmas, and they attempt to stock items useful for festival-goers.
“Glastonbury Festival is like the run up to Christmas for us,” said Zander Bruce who manages a Children's Hospice South West shop.
“We prepare our stock ready and sell during the run up to the festival."
“We had a sack of items left in the store the other week and when we went through it we found a Stella McCartney for Adidas jumpsuit among some other beautiful items,” said Zander.
He explained it was snapped up by a man for his daughter to wear at festivals.
Shop assistant at Harvest Moon Rani Cameron said they stock up on backpacks and "eye-catching" clothes.
"People want to buy bum-bags and backpacks," she said.
"Anything that is bright and eye-catching. We get a lot just before the festival but when the festival actually starts, it's dead.
"Busy is good and we enjoy all of the different types of customers who come.
"Everyone is always in a good mood."
While festival-goers seem to be keen on picking up last-minute outfits for the event, they do not show the same interest when it comes to the town's hospitality industry.
Beckets Inn's landlady, Brigid Crome, said the pub does not experience extra trade.
"We used to get a lot people coming in here when they had ticket touts," she said.
"Now, most of them camp at the site the night before the gates open and don't come in here."
