Northampton signed off from hosting games in the Women's Rugby World Cup with a double-header on Sunday.

Italy beat Brazil 64-3 in the first game, while that was followed by France running in nine tries against South Africa in a 57-10 victory.

The stadium at Franklin's Gardens hosted six group-stage fixtures during the tournament, including England's emphatic 92–3 win over Samoa.

Northampton Saints return to Premiership action at the ground on 28 September against Exeter Chiefs.
