Three arrested after man stabbed in head and arms

A man was stabbed in the head and arms in an attack on Merseyside.
Police were called at about 17:00 BST on Sunday after the man in his 30s was assaulted in Beech Court in Birkenhead.
The North West Air Ambulance attended but the man was taken to hospital by road, having suffered minor injuries.
Three men aged aged 30, 33, and 61, all from Birkenhead, were arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent and have been conditionally bailed pending further enquiries.
Det Insp Sarah Wilkinson said the force was taking the incident "extremely seriously" and appealed to anyone with information to contact the force.
"Although we have arrested three people in connection with this incident, we are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward," she said.
