Arrests made after man killed in hit-and-run

Two people have been arrested after a man in his 40s died in a hit-and-run on a dual carriageway.
Police were called to the A43 in Kettering, Northamptonshire, at about 08:00 BST on Thursday, after the man's body was seen lying in the undergrowth.
A 41-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene.
The woman has been released with no further action, while the man has been released on police bail.
The incident took place between Rockingham Road and junction seven of the A14 between 19:00 on Wednesday and 06:50 on Thursday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed for several hours.
Officers are appealing anyone with information about the collision to come forward.
