Ahead of Christmas, Jersey Post has released its festive stamp set entitled Jersey’s International Christmas.

The set, which was released on 11 November, features popular and traditional Christmas dishes from around the world, including Buche de Noel from France and Poland's Barszcz czerwony.

But as well as a celebrating the rest of the world, Jersey Post has also featured the best of what the island has to offer.

This includes Jersey’s Lé Podîn d'Noué - a traditional steamed Christmas pudding made from a recipe used in Jersey for generations.

With the addition of breadcrumbs and suet, spices and dried fruit, the pudding is lighter and quicker to make than the traditional British version.

Other nations explored by the new collection include Romania, Portugal and South Africa.

A spokesperson for Jersey Post said the company wanted to "thank the various communities around the island for their assistance".
