Emergency work to repair a burst water main has led to part of a Guernsey road becoming one-way.

The States of Guernsey said the incident had been reported at L'Aumone in Castel and work to repair the issue is estimated to be completed on Wednesday.

There is no entry to L'Aumone from the traffic signals at the bottom of Rectory Hill.

"Drivers needing to access L'Aumone from Rectory Hill, Les Varendes, Les Baissieres and Landes du Marche are being diverted via Rue Cohu," the States said on its Traffic and Highways Services Facebook page, external.
