Attempted murder charge over suspected shooting

A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after another man was injured in a suspected shooting.
The victim suffered a non-life-threatening leg injury during the incident in Wasp Nest Road, Huddersfield, on 29 October, according to West Yorkshire Police.
A 34-year-old man from Huddersfield was later charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and two counts of possession of drugs with intent to supply.
In a hearing at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, he was remanded in custody and is expected to appear before Leeds Crown Court on 4 March.
