Murder arrest after boy stabbed at railway station

A murder investigation has been launched after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death at an East Sussex railway station.
The boy was found by officers with stab wounds at Seaford station after they were alerted at about 17:00 BST on Wednesday, British Transport Police said.
Sussex Police and paramedics also attended, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin informed.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held in custody.
Det Ch Insp Paul Stanley said: "This is a shocking incident which has resulted in the tragic loss of a young man.
"The investigation remains in the early stages and the station will remain closed while we continue our enquiries in the area."
Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
There are currently no trains running between Seaford and Newhaven Harbour. A rail replacement bus service is operating between the two stations.
Southern said disruption was expected until about 13:00 on Thursday.
