A teenage motorcyclist has died following a crash in the early hours of Sunday morning, police have said.

Gloucestershire Police said officers and emergency services were called to the B4008 in Standish, near Stonehouse in Gloucestershire, at about 00:10 BST.

A 19-year-old man, who was riding an off-road bike, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

His next of kin have been informed.

Road closures had been in place, but have since been removed.

Officers have appealed for any witnesses or people with dashcam footage to come forward to help with investigations.

They would also like to hear from anyone who saw a green Kawasaki off-road bike being ridden in the area on Saturday night.
