Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a house in a seaside town.
Six crews from Devon and Somerset Fire Service were sent to Claredale Road in Exmouth when the fire was first reported at about 12:50 BST.
The fire service said the blaze started in the garden before spreading to the house itself and its crews were working inside and outside the property to contain the spread of the flames, including removing plasterboard and roof tiles.
Firefighters warned people to avoid the area and to keep windows and doors closed.
A spokesperson for the fire service said all people inside the building had got out safely and a dog had been led away from the property.
They added the flames in the garden had been extinguished but crews remained at the scene to battle fire inside the home.
