Water park remains closed into school holidays

The water park closed a week after it reopened for the summer season

An outdoor city water park remains closed despite hopes it would open again for the summer.

Bretton Water Park in Barnstock, Peterborough, is awaiting a new water pump so it can officially reopen for the season.

It was due to open on 9 July, but this was delayed until 23 July.

A Peterborough Ltd spokesperson said a new pump had been ordered and they awaited a date for delivery and installation.
