Police have issued a fresh appeal for information on the 38th birthday of a woman who has been missing for more than seven years.

Georgina Gharsallah was last seen in Clifton Road, Worthing, West Sussex, on 7 March 2018.

On the day she went missing, Ms Gharsallah had arranged to meet her father after collecting a mobile phone, but she did not turn up.

Det Supt Andy Wolstenholme, from Sussex Police, said: "Georgina deserves justice, and her family deserve answers and peace of mind in knowing what happened to her."

He added: "We are committed to following up on all viable lines of enquiry."

Ms Gharsallah was last seen on CCTV in a shop on Clifton Road, with a second unconfirmed sighting walking down Chapel Road with an as yet unidentified woman, officers said.

A murder inquiry began in August 2019.

A £20,000 reward via the charity Crimestoppers is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Ms Gharsallah's disappearance.

Mr Wolstenholme said: "We still don't have the crucial piece of information that will tell us what happened to Georgina on the day she was last seen in Worthing."
