Gas has been restored to about 3,500 homes in North Yorkshire after the supply was cut off when a mains pipe was damaged.
Northern Gas Networks (NGN) said customers in Settle, Hellifield, Long Preston, Langcliffe, Giggleswick and Coniston Cold were affected following "third party damage" to a gas main on Saturday.
People in the area were told to turn off their gas supply at the meter while engineers worked to resolve the problem, with NGN saying repair work was completed at about 14:00 GMT.
Those affected were offered free food vouchers, with heaters and hotplates also available for those most in need.
A customer support hub was set up at The Falcon Hotel on Skipton Road in Settle, NGN said.
A spokesperson said: "Engineers have completed the repair work and we're pleased to share that engineers have safely restored the gas supply to all affected properties."
Customers were told they could turn their supply back on, with instructions on the NGN website. , external
