Suspected XL Bully killed in 'targeted attack'

Police have launched an investigation after a dog was killed in a suspected deliberate attack.
The assault took place in Burnham Lane, Slough, at about 18:05 BST on Sunday, Thames Valley Police said.
Following the attack the large light-brown dog was taken for emergency treatment, but died from its injuries.
Police said the dog, which was believed to be an XL Bully, had not posed a threat to anyone at the time of the incident.
It is believed that the attackers were travelling in a black vehicle before and after the attack.
Det Insp Sarah Noah, said: “We are investigating this incident in which a dog has been killed.
"It is not believed at this stage that the dog was posing a threat at the time of the incident and this may have been targeted."
The force has urged anyone with more information about the incident to come forward and assist the investigation.
