Inverness Royal Academy has been closed to pupils after staff discovered a water leak.

Highland Council said the leak was isolated and an investigation was carried out to establish the extent of the damage.

The school is due to open as usual on Tuesday.

In a social media post, the academy's management said: "The issue has now been resolved and we are looking forward to seeing pupils back in school tomorrow."

Inverness Royal Academy is the largest school in the Highlands and has a roll of more than 1,300 pupils.
