Man pleads guilty to murdering 93-year-old father

A man has pleaded guilty to murdering his 93-year-old father.

Emergency services were called to a home in Hambrook, South Gloucestershire on 22 June, where Robert Moore, known as Bob, was found dead at the scene.

Gary Moore, 64, of Mill Lane, Hambrook, was arrested shortly afterwards and charged with his father's murder.

He pleaded guilty on Friday at Bristol Crown Court and is due to be sentenced on 29 November.
