Police name victim in murder investigation

A man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail, police said

A man found dead at his home in Huddersfield has been named by police as Simon Stell.

Mr Stell, 59, was discovered at his home address on Park Road, in the Crosland Moor area of Huddersfield, at about 20:20 BST on 5 September.

West Yorkshire Police said a 56-year-old man had been arrested and interviewed on suspicion of murder and had been released on conditional bail.

A spokesperson appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
