A mother has pleaded not guilty to the murder of her newborn son.

The child, who was thought to be a few days old, was found on 6 March at an address on Raglan Street in Coventry, West Midlands Police said.

Jia Xin Teo, 22, entered her plea at Warwick Crown Court on Friday.

A trial date has been fixed before the court on 1 October.
