Four women rescued from mud after becoming stranded

Four women have been rescued after becoming stuck in the mud at Humberston Fitties near Cleethorpes.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 20:30 BST on Saturday after the group got into difficulty.

Two of the women were able to free themselves while the other two were helped to safety by water rescue technicians using mud rafts.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said all four were checked by paramedics at the scene.
