Woman in her 70s dies in Londonderry crash

A woman in her 70s has died after a crash involving two cars in Londonderry, police have confirmed.
The collision between a grey Citroen C3 and blue Alfa Romeo on the Limavady Road was reported to police shortly before 16:00 BST on Thursday.
The woman, who was a passenger in the Citroen, was taken to hospital but died a short time later as a result of her injuries.
The two male drivers involved in the collision, both in their 70s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police, ambulance and fire and rescue personnel attended the scene.
The Limavady road was closed in both directions for a period on Thursday but has since reopened.
Insp Cherith Adair, from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), said: “Our investigation is continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information or who may have dash-cam or mobile phone footage available to get in contact ".
