Boy, 13, charged with arson, burglary and assault

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with several offences including arson, burglary, assault and criminal damage.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested following a spate of incidents in Corby.
Northamptonshire Police said the offences took place at various sites including a school and a community centre.
The boy will appear before magistrates on 4 March.
The force said the boy had been charged with seven offences:
Criminal damage in Queen's Square on 12 September
Threatening/abusive behaviour in New Post Office Square on 14 September
Arson at Willow Place on 10 October
Criminal damage at a business in George Street on 4 December
Assault by beating in Queen's Square on 10 December
Criminal damage at a school in Southbrook on 8 February
Burglary at Kingswood Community Centre on 11 February
Northamptonshire Police said it would "continue to work with partners and businesses to reduce and prevent anti-social behaviour in the town, with investigations ongoing into reported incidents".
