Two jailed in connection with death of dad-of-seven

Two people have been jailed over the killing of father-of-seven Deavon Harrison, who was shot in Wolverhampton last December.
Jonathan Williams, 20, of no fixed address, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named, were cleared of murder.
But Williams was convicted of manslaughter, and both of wounding with intent and possession of a knife.
Williams was jailed for 19 years at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday with the teenager sentenced to three years' detention.
Mr Harrison, 46, died after he was found seriously injured in the Dunstall Hill area on 30 December last year.
His family described him as a "beloved first-born son" who left behind parents, 13 siblings, seven children and a granddaughter.
A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Harrison died from a bullet wound to his chest, police said.
CCTV footage showed Williams and the boy arriving at the home on an e-scooter and a bike and leaving a minute later.
The court heard the pair insist they had gone to the address to carry out a drug deal which didn’t go to plan, the force added.
But officers said Mr Harrison had been left to "die alone on the kitchen floor".
Det Insp Michelle Cordell said: “Deavon’s death continues to have a devastating impact on his family and loved ones.
"I hope the sentences offer some comfort to his family and that they can try to rebuild their lives," she added.
