Man convicted of killing father-of-seven

A man has been convicted of killing a father-of-seven, who was shot in the chest in Wolverhampton.
Deavon Harrison, 46, was found with fatal injuries in Dunstall Hill on 30 December.
Jonathan Williams, 20, of no fixed abode, was found guilty of manslaughter, but cleared of murder and of possessing a firearm after a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
He was also convicted of wounding with intent and possessing a knife.
A 16-year-old boy was found not guilty of murder, but was convicted of wounding with intent and possession of a knife.
The pair are due to be sentenced on 4 September.
Kerry Francis, of Foxglove Close, Wombourne, was cleared of murder, manslaughter and wounding with intent, and walked free from court on Friday.
West Midlands Police said at the time of the attack that a post-mortem examination revealed Mr Harrison was killed by a bullet wound to his chest.
On Friday, the force said it noted the court's decision and its thoughts remained with the family and loved ones at this time.
Mr Harrison's family have previously described him as a "beloved first-born son", who left behind parents, 13 siblings, seven children and a granddaughter.
